amps (compolent level)

anyone any good with the title?


..my amp got submerged in 6" of water for the best part of 6 months, have dried, cleaned, inspected (with the naked eye only).


reinstalled it in the Rococo, and the sound out put is "fuzzy"??? ...it is no longer clear.



Fonzooroo sugested low volts .... volts fine,

he also suggested somethig in side that I can't remember.... but I'm an elcetricain, not an instrument fitter, can anyone who is, or has knowlage please help (by suggestign fixs, or even better havign a look!!!

you'll need to strip it down, clean all connections up that aren't soldered and check for any signs of corrosion forming in any "dry joints" in the soldering. does that make sense?

possibly easier to just junk it and replace. why did it go swimming anyways?

Personally, I would ditch any electrical item that's been for a swim.

I hate looking for dry joints, it normally means resolderinng every one for me as I just can't tell... Works though, just takes time!

Swim cause left the car at my dads for 6 months not knowing there was a leak somewhere... Prob the door
