hahahaha i remember doing somthing like that before with the missis in the car and no lie i couldnt hear anything for a good hour after, thats never to be repeated. i agree quality is way better than quantity! well now that ive grown up abit.

I'm getting there. Got the dream head unit, well close as i'm likely to get anyway. Got what i think is the best set of speakers without cutting anything - infinity fromt and back, the back being bigger but set back from the grilles, nice alpine sub and amp that gives enough bass volume and an amp for the rear speakers. There's plenty of wattage in the head unit to power the fronts so i just need to install all the infinity speakers and the rear speaker amp then see how it sounds. I do like it loud but only if it remains clear. I won't lose quality to gain volume.
