wheel spacers?

ok so i just got a new set of alloys.the pcd and the size is the same but the et is 45 as opposed to et38 on my existing alloys.i know it says on the faq that a few mm either way is fine but does anyone know if these will rub before i go get the tyres from my existing wheels swapped over?the cars my daily so i cant really have the wheels rubbing for a few days till i get spacers and i dont want to order spacers unless i need them :dunno:

checking they clear the brakes is easiest done by putting one of them on the car. as for clearing suspension and arches, you could try getting them to just swap 1 over, then trying it front and rear. if it fouls, bang the spare on while you go get some spacers

ok so if i do end up needing wheel spacers,how thick can you go before you need longer wheel bolts?

No more than 5mm. I had 10mm previously and needed new wheel bolts.
