Mk1 and Mk2 parts for sale (clearout)

Post by the edmundator » Wed Jun 26, 2019 4:00 pm

Pictures on request.

Collection only, from Bedford, unless otherwise specified.

Can bring parts to National Meeting on request, though will need payment first.

List will be updated as I find more things. For the moment:

Mk1:
----

Good bootlid, outside has been badly painted in yellow, but it's a very solid panel with one small hole (<5mm) on the n/s glass mounting surface.
£75.

x3 Storm wheels (the multi-spoke ones), not sure why I only have three, there used to be four...
£20.

Mk2:
----

Driver's side front wing, few small dents but generally very good, no indicator repeater hole, from pewter grey GTX. Black swage line plastic trim still present but arch kit removed. No significant rust.
£100.

Rear inner-wheelarch liners (from GTX) - pair in good condition, probably some marks from use so not perfect, but no tears/holes.
£40.

Reserved x2 GL wheels (13" alloys), again not quite sure how I ended up with two...
£20.

Reserved Early mk2 instrument cluster, untested, with MFA and the 1/2 position switch and swing-o-meter fuel economy gauge. I think the bulb for the oil pressure has gone AWOL.
£30.

Reserved Matching pair of silver doors from an '82 GTI. Currently have all the door furniture attached (red door-cards) - can be removed and sold separately if required - including wing-mirrors and untinted glass. Various scratches and rough edges from storage, but I think free of major corrosion.
£150 the pair complete with the trim.

Reserved Clear (untinted) rear side windows and rubbers (presume from '82 GTI).
£40 the pair.

Reserved Clear (untinted) rear window with SCIROCCO script and a blanking plug in the wiper hole (presume from '82 GTI).
£50.

Reserved Single Avus 14" alloy (from Scala etc) with black inlays. Has a tyre but needs replacing.
£10.

Reserved Front bumper with headlamp washers, original unpainted black/grey finish. A few light scratches but cleans up well. Washer tubing and foglamp brackets still attached. Rust-free.
£50.

Reserved Rear bumper in unpainted black/grey plastic. Light scratches from storage. Some surface rust but still solid.
£50.

Various service parts available inc. discs/pads, filters etc, for various mk2 models (I might even have a list somewhere....). Will probably bring a lot of this to the National.

I also have bits of interior trim etc, mainly from a GTX - again, will bring this stuff to the National.

GL wheels are spoken for at the moment, but you can still have the Storm alloys. Do you want to collect?

Yes, I've just found some on my computer from a few years ago, but they'll be more-or-less the same, probably just dustier.

If you send me your e-mail address I can forward them to you - if you decide you want them I can go and take some up-to-date photos/re-check them for any damage etc.
