Hi

My name is Ricardo from Mexico ,i bought this rocco in USA ,now is in Mexico ,because in Mexico VW never sold roccos now is a rare car ,there are few ,this car is a little bit rare because is 1977 with a 1.6 engine and CIS system ,i saw some other 77 s but with carburated engine and 1.5 ,in dont know if mk1 roccos in 77 with that engine and CIS system were only SCIROCCO or is a special model etc or only SCIROCCO.

Welcome and what a great Mk1, that is a rare Scirocco, even comes with Air Con!
Looks as if time and rust has been kind to the body work?

Nice. CIS=fuel injection to North Americans. This was all about emissions!

Her some more pics ,now the car is in Tijuana Mexico one of our borders between Mexico and USA ,i need to take it to San Luis Potosi that is about 2500 km , when the car arrives to San Luis Potosi i will take more pics and share the restoration process ..
