A brief history of the Register...

The Scirocco Register was started in early 1996 by a group of enthusiastic owners and its this and friendship that has kept us up and running. It has never been the aim of those running things to be a classic car club, more an informal home for those who share this liking and devotion for the Volkswagen Scirocco in the UK. If we are familiar to you, even only vaguely, the name Mike Simcox may mean something. Mike is the founding member of the Register and he did the Register proud by ably running things, for 6 years.

Following a relaunch meeting in March 2002 the Scirocco Register re-emerged revitalised from a quiet period to the delight of Scirocco owners everywhere. David Seaman is now the key contact and he currently runs things from his home in Fife, which he shares with two Mk1 Sciroccos!

Being a Register, our other mission is to document the existence and chronicle the history of all remaining Sciroccos. Ambitious? Maybe. You can help, though, by buying one or more Sciroccos (!) and joining. You can even join before you get the Scirocco(s).

A word from Mike...

Have a browse, take yer time - browse the free ads.
But whatever you do,
Keep Scirocco-ing!

Cheers,

If anyone knows the whereabouts of the Beiber Convertible Scirocco above--let me know!
I missed out on buying it a few years back and would love to know if it's still about)
